This policy explains what happens when you cancel a paid StreamMesh plan (“Premium”). It forms part of our Terms of Service.
In short: you can cancel any time and you are not charged again, but we do not refund payments already made, in full or in part. You keep Premium until the end of the period you have paid for.
1. Cancelling your subscription
You can cancel Premium at any time from Billing in your dashboard, using Cancel subscription. When you cancel:
- your subscription is cancelled straight away, and you are not charged again;
- you keep everything Premium includes until the end of the billing period you have already paid for;
- when that period ends, your account moves to the Free plan.
Your videos, streams and destinations are kept when you move to Free. Anything above the Free plan’s limits, such as extra concurrent streams, can no longer be used.
2. No refunds
Payments for Premium, monthly or yearly, and for add-ons such as extra storage, are not refundable. Cancelling part-way through a billing period does not give you a refund or credit for the time left; you keep using Premium for that time instead.
3. An example
You buy a monthly Premium subscription that is paid up to 25 November 2026. On 10 November 2026 you cancel it.
- Your subscription is cancelled on 10 November, and there is no further charge.
- No money is returned for 10 to 25 November.
- You can keep streaming on Premium until 25 November 2026.
- From then on your account is on the Free plan.
The same applies to a yearly subscription: Premium continues until the end of the paid year.
4. Changing your plan
- More streams. Extra streams are available as soon as you pay for them, at the price shown at checkout.
- Fewer streams. A decrease takes effect at your next renewal. You keep the streams you have paid for until then, and no refund is given for the difference.
- Monthly or yearly. To switch, cancel and subscribe again once your current period ends.
5. Cancellation cannot be undone
Once a subscription is cancelled it cannot be restarted. You can subscribe again after your paid period ends.
6. Deleting your account
Deleting your account cancels your subscription immediately rather than at the end of the period, because there is no longer an account to keep Premium on. No refund is given for the time left, so if you have paid time remaining, consider cancelling first and deleting your account once it ends.
7. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails and cannot be collected, your subscription ends and your account moves to the Free plan. Nothing you have made is deleted.
8. Charges made in error
If you are charged twice for the same period, or charged after your subscription was cancelled, write to us. Once we have confirmed it, we refund the extra charge to the original payment method within 7 working days. Your bank may take longer to show it.
9. Free plan
The Free plan costs nothing and needs no card, so there is nothing to cancel or refund.
